As I have kept on feeding the birds, I have been noticing that a family of Jack doors have been coming back and forth to feed in the garden.
They are mostly feeding on my fat ball feeder (which I stuck to the fence so it didn’t move). As the juvenile cries for food, the adults are taking huge chunks of fat from the feeder.
Here is a picture of the young Jack door, which my Infra red camera took.

    It reminds me of a cross between the grackle and crow here in the US. That's very cool you have an infra red camera!

    Very admirable of you to have your own blog and be interested in the great outdoors at your age. Good on you. Keep on taking pictures. It is real cheap to do these days. No film needed.

      Hi Finlay. To turn off word verification go to your blogs dashboard..select options and settings (little box with down arrow)..select posts and comments and set word verification to NO...also you can set Comment moderation to Always that way you can see what comments you have before you publish them.. you can also set who comments to Registered User (these two settings will help to stop you receiving spam comments on your blog...hope this helps..[;o)

    Hi Findlay...It is a busy time of year for the birds with all those young mouths to feed,so it is nice that you have helped by placing food out for them !!

    Findlay go into your settings, then click on posts and comments and where it says Word Verification turn it to NO

    Findlay, me again.
    Another suggestion for you.
    Go to your dashboard, and in the 'Design' section you should find an add on for 'Followers'.
    Add this, then people can follow your blog more easily.
