I just had to do this blog before school today, even before going in my bird hide. You may remember this recent picture I took of the Shell Duck and the Pintails:
Well the brilliant artist Sharon Whitley has painted the best picture of my ducks:
Thank you so much Sharon
Que cuadro mas bonito a sacado de la foto.Saludos
ReplyDeleteThat's a truly wonderful, and well-deserved, accolade Findlay. I'm sure that you'll treasure this for the rest of your life. Well done!!!
ReplyDeleteAn excellent photograph turned into a beautiful work of art...well done to Findlay and Sharon!...[;o)
ReplyDeleteFindlay what an honour that you posted this even before going into your bird hide this morning! I'm so thrilled you like it, it's a photo to be proud of the way the 3 ducks are walking together in a line - nice composition. If your mum and dad say it's ok to message me your address then I'll send it to you - oh and I'm made up to be your favourite artist!
ReplyDeleteThat's so nice Findlay, you are right she is a brilliant artist, but she keeps telling me I'm just biased, so I am glad you have mentioned it and that you like her lovely painting, must have been good to stop you going into your hide!!
ReplyDeleteThat is excellent Findlay. And top marks to Sharon too.
ReplyDeletefabulous, findley! how wonderful! what an honor!
ReplyDelete(sorry i misspelled your name!) :)
ReplyDeleteWell I've been taking photgraphs of birds for what seems like ages now, and haven't had on painted, a fantastic accolade.
ReplyDeleteThe painting itself would look great on the wall of the hide it was taken in.
HI Findlay...That is just awesome ...how kind of Sharon to paint this from your duck photo!!
ReplyDeleteLucky kid you : )!!

Hello Findlay,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely blog and super photograph of the three ducks. I saw Sharon's painting and followed her link to find your ducks. Well done, lovely photograph.
Hi Findlay, love your ducks. I'm just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

Great drawing Fin. If you get any pictures of Siskins, I would be grateful. I have not seen one in my area of Cheshire for over 20 years. Keep up the good work young man, an aspiring Chris Packham or Simon King in the making I think :)
ReplyDeleteThere lots of Siskins at RSPB Burton Mere on the Wirral today. from Findlay
DeleteIt's wonderful Findlay.... Sharon has a lovely talent.
